2024 First Year/Second Year Seminar Conference on 鈥淗umanity and Society鈥�

On April 20, 2024, the First Year/Second Year Seminar Program of the General Education Department of 香港管家婆资料免费大全 held its first on-campus conference with the theme 鈥淗umanity and Society.鈥� The conference was opened with a welcome speech from Dr. Chynarkul Ryskulova, VPAA and followed by the keynote speech on 鈥淐ultivating Skepticism鈥� by Dr. David Shein, Associate VPAA and Dean of Studies at Bard College.听 There were twenty-four freshman and sophomore students selected and presented their exemplary written papers from their FYS and SYS courses. The FYS/SYS faculty have chosen 6 Best Presentations namely: Panel A 鈥� Madina Salieva; Panel B 鈥� Sabina Dzhumalieva; Panel C 鈥� Anton Matveev; Panel D - Turan Isamatov; Panel E 鈥� Abdullah Nazari; Panel F 鈥� Deniz Asanakunova. The organizing committee also awarded the Best First Year Seminar Essay to Sabina Maratbek kyzy and the Best Second Year Seminar Essay to Ainazik Zhanyshbekova.
